This document will help you change your listserv settings. The information
provided is for subscribers of listservs hosted by The Resource
Center. For assistance with other listservs, contact their listserv administrator.
Settings
The listserv has a number of features
that you may want to use:
- Edit your name or e-mail address.
- Set your membership type:
- Normal: receive messages as they are contributed
- Digest: one daily email with all the messages
for that day
- Mime digest: one daily email with that
day's messages in MIME format
- Index: one daily email with only the subject
lines for that day
- No email: receive no email
from this mailing list. Good for when you are
out of the office or on vacation.
- See your own postings.
- Apply changes to each listserv
of all listservs you belong to.
Steps
Follow these steps to change your settings via the website:
- Go to the listserv website at: http://lists.etr.org/read/ which will take you to the All Forums page.
- Choose the listserv you would like to alter
from the list provided by clicking the name
of the list, such as NSSCTalk.
(Click the show more > button
to see the whole list.)
- Some listservs will require you to log-in
at this point. (Log-in to your account with
your e-mail (and password if you have one).
Click OK.)
- In the upper right corner, you can now see
the forum (or listserv area) that you are in.
- Click on the My Account tab,
and if you haven't been prompted to do so thus
far, you will be asked to supply your e-mail
(and password). Click OK.
- Under the Essentials tab
and the Advanced tab make the
appropriate changes.
- Click the save changes button.
